While many, many weapon and armor styles and types exist, and I could never hope to list them all, This will serve as a reference as to the existing types of metals, their purposes, and their weaknesses. Only Rare materials will be listed here, as it would take too much to list all metals and woods within The Veil.
Beginning with wood, the known types of weapons and armor that primarily use Wood are Bows, Crossbows, Nunchucks, Warhammers, Clubs, Shields, and Staffs.
Rare Materials:
Rare materials, which are hard to acquire and even harder to craft. Takes a master craftsman, and a lot of time, if you don't have one that's already made. Rare material weapons sometimes have special abilities, and usually have names
Rare Materials include
Celestial Snakewood-Celestial snakewood is a beautiful material, used to craft the wooden weapons of the wealthiest people of The Veil. It's Snakewood, which was grown on Olympus. Because of the godly energy captured in it's growing, it has special properties, and is a well-known material.
Imperial Lethe- Crafted from the branches of a Lethe Tree, Imperial Lethe is the material used by ancient Elven Monarchs in order to erase the memories of themselves when injuring, but not killing, a target. These weapons are extremely heavy, and can only erase short-term memories, so they're usually considered impractical for combat.
Legendary Materials:
Legendary Materials are materials rare enough to be told as the weapons of heroes, and generally are named weapons, because they each have a unique ability, which makes them different from all other weapons. While they aren't as hard to craft as Divine Materials, they're plenty rare, and those who hold them are well known or lucky.
Celestial Blackwood- Celestial blackwood is blackwood that was grown in Olympus, next to the Throne Room. Because of this, it captured the emotions of the gods, and that gave it unique properties. It generally is good for high-speed combat, but sacrifices quite a bit of damage because of it's light weight.
Silver Lethe- Also crafted from the branches of a Lethe Tree, Silver Lethe has been infused with silver, which makes it able to do damage to Lycanthropes and Vrykolaka. It's a heavy-weight material, but can erase slightly stronger memories than the Imperial Lethe. It's usually considered Impractical, as well, due to it's slow speed.
Divine Materials:
Only the luckiest of The Veil owns one of these. The Rarest of the Rare materials, those who wield Divine Materials are considered as powerful as gods themselves. These Weapons are always named, and they usually take great sacrifices to create. They have unique properties of their own, as a result of the hardships it takes to create them. One can only be acquired in-game with permission from an Admin.
Please note that Divine Weapons drain the energy of the user, even when only being held by them. They can only be used in extreme battles, and if they're used too much, the user has the possibility to die.
Divine Materials include
Phlegic Blackwood- Celestial Blackwood, blessed by the god Phlegethon, and forged with the fires of his river. Can kill any creature within The Veil, and can harm Mortals as well. A weapon made of Phlegic Blackwood can call upon the power of the god Phlegethon, and request his aid. Burns any enemy upon contact.
Achious Silver- Achious Silver, similarly to Celestial Blackwood, is required to be forged in one of the Rivers of Hades, in the Underworld. Rather than the Phlegethon, however, the Achious Silver must be gathered from the deepest part of the Acheron, the River of Oblivion and Pain. This required the gatherer to swim in the river, and stay sane long enough to actually gather the Silver, which is in a Gel-like state until the forging process, and return to the shore. This almost always results in the death or insanity of the gatherer. Once the Achous Gel is gathered, it must be sprinkled with the Ichor of a god. Once this happens, the Achious Silver takes the form of the Achious wood. Through forging, which required the Acheron waters to be used for cooling, it is laced with silver, and forged into the desired shape. Because of the painful and complicated forging process, this is the rarest form of material in the known universe.

Rare Materials Include
Stygian Silver- Stygian Iron laced with Silver. Kills underworld creatures effectively. Stygian Silver is rather rare, because of the complicated forging process.
Celestial Silver- Celestial Silver is Celestial Bronze laced with Silver. It kills Monsters very effectively, and is very fast and maneuverable.
Imperial Silver- Imperial Silver is Imperial Gold laced with Silver. It kills Monsters very effectively, and is slow and heavy, but damages enemies quite a bit more than Celestial Silver.

While they aren't as hard to craft as Divine Materials, they're plenty rare, and those who hold them are well known or lucky.
Imperial Stygian- Stygian Iron laced with Imperial Gold. Together these materials effectively kill all sorts of monsters, and when crafted with silver, it repels Lycanthropes and Vrykolaka.
Celestial Diamond- Celestial Bronze, which has been embedded with diamonds. It's a near-unbreakable metal, and is generally a pretty light sword. These are usually used as dual swords, when possible.
Divine Materials-
Only the luckiest of The Veil owns one of these. The Rarest of the Rare materials, those who wield Divine Materials are considered as powerful as gods themselves. Stygian Osmium- A beautiful, black/blue metal, which is made of Osmium and Stygian Iron. Often, Stygian Ice is also forged into it, and it gives the metal special freezing abilities. This material is forged and cooled in the waters of the River Styx, and, as a result, is given further freezing properties, slowly freezing an opponent throughout a battle, and stiffening their movements. Weapons and Armor made with this material are extremely durable.
Cocious Gold- A light, maneuverable material that makes good daggers, Cocious Gold is a material that has a natural glow, literally shining, even in the darkest of places. It is known for working especially well on evil beings, purifying and cleansing their souls in death. It slowly saps all will to live from them, however, and with each strike of the blade, they loose a little more faith in their victory. This blade is known to grow more powerful with more victims killed.
